Sarah J. Williams has over 35 years nursing experience  with significant concentration in Nursing Education and Staff Development.  Additionally, she has had experience in medical surgical, critical care, orthopedics/gynecology and mental health nursing.  She retired from the United States Air Force  in 2002 with 30 years of military service.

She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center in Nursing Professional Development.  She is also a certified Grief Recovery Specialist and hold facilitator's credentials in Life after Loss through the American Cancer Society.  Additionally, she is certified facilitator in Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, trained by the Steven Covey Institute.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Baylor University School of Nursing, Dallas, Texas.
Master of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of Northern Colorado, Greeley, Colorado.
Master of Science in Nursing from Wright State University School of Nursing, Dayton, Ohio.
Doctor of Philosophy in Health Services from Walden University Institute of Advanced Studies, Minneapolis, Minnesota.

She is a member of a number of public service organizations.  She is immediate past president of the San Antonio Chapter of the Tuskegee Airmen.  She is also a member of Texas Nurses Association, National Nursing Staff Development Organization, Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
